William Oswald
Ph. D. Candidate
William Oswald is a Ph.D. candidate at INRS-ETE in Québec City studying the geology and metallogeny of the Goldcorp-owned, Musselwhite BIF-hosted gold deposit (Ontario), under supervision of Sébastien Castonguay (Geological Survey of Canada). He obtained his B.Sc. in Geology in 2009 and Master Degree in 2011 from the Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais, France. William has worked on geological risk analysis and Geographic Information Systems for Bouygues Construction (France) and field, geological and structural mapping in Tanzania for Quebec-based MDN Inc. Nathalie Schnitzler
M.Sc. Candidate
Nathalie Schnitzler received her geological engineer degree (Master Degree) from Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais, France (2012). She worked for NioGold Mining Corporation (Val d’Or, Québec) as a junior exploration geologist and took part in several drilling campaigns. During fall 2014, Nathalie began a second master's degree at INRS-ETE (Québec). For her current M.Sc. project she works on the statistical analyses of multiparameter data from the Bracemac-McLeod VMS deposit (Matagami mining district, Quebec), with The Mobile laboratory for the physical, mineralogical and chemical characterization of rocks (LAMROC). Nathalie is specialized in structural geology, geochemistry and geostatistics.

Vincent Dubé-Bourgeois
M. Sc. Candidate
Vincent Dubé-Bourgeois is a M.Sc. student at INRS-ETE under the supervision of Dr. Pierre-Simon Ross. He graduated with a B.Sc. in geology from the University of Ottawa in 2013. Vincent worked as an assistant geologist for the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) for a total of 1 year over three summers, as well as a junior geologist for Noront Resources during a summer drilling campaign in the Ring of Fire. His current M.Sc. project consists of describing and interpreting the geochemistry and geodynamic setting of the volcanic rocks hosting the gold-rich VMS Lalor deposit, Snow Lake, Manitoba. During his professional and academic experience, Vincent specialized in structural geology, mapping, geochemistry, big data analysis and geodynamic setting.
